Beth Gill es una de las mejores atletas de piragüismo del mundo.
Ganadora de la medalla de oro en el Campeonato Mundial de Maratón de Canotaje, obtuvo otro bronce mundial y dos medallas de plata en el Campeonato Europeo en 2022. Beth también es la actual campeona británica en varias distancias.
Beth también forma parte del equipo británico de piragüismo, que aspira a clasificarse y representar a su país en la disciplina de velocidad olímpica en los Juegos Olímpicos de París 2024.
Fuera del agua, Beth ha trabajado en diversas organizaciones benéficas locales y cursa el último año de su carrera en la Universidad de Nottingham.
Le apasiona proteger nuestros ríos y vías fluviales y concienciar sobre su importancia ecológica. Dedicar una gran cantidad de tiempo a entrenar y competir en ríos y vías fluviales de todo el mundo, junto con sus estudios universitarios sobre medio ambiente y contaminación fluvial, le permite ver los ríos desde una perspectiva diferente. A través de su plataforma, se esfuerza por comunicar el importante daño que estamos causando a nuestros ríos y qué podemos hacer para protegerlos y promover su importancia.
